AquaCo Premium 2 Stage - Softener - Whole House System Details

  • Unlike resin softening resin cartridges that only have 2 litres of resin inside, cannot regenerate and need frequent changing, our Automatic Water softener has 28 Litres of resin.

  • It performs automatic regenerations every 17,000 Litres at 100mg/l of hardness, significantly extending the life of the resin, which can reach up to 10 years with proper maintenance.

  • The Water Softening Filter System with Premium Water Pre-Filtration is the perfect package for the most efficient reduction of contaminants commonly found in Bore water, and places with high levels of hardness in the water.

  • The pre-filtration system before the water softener protects the performance of the water softener. The premium pre-filtration system will protect the softening resin inside the softener from chlorine and dirt. It will also remove other contaminants in the water such as industrial solvents, lead, iron, odours, colour, arsenic, bacteria, viruses, parasites and other harmful contaminants.

Please note: Standard installation is available for all of metropolitan Melbourne, extending to within 100km's of Melbourne CBD. Please contact us before ordering if out of this area for regional pricing.

What is included with a whole house system installation?

  • Whole house system installed to within 3m of the connection point or water meter*. 

  • Any grounds that are either raised or require digging will be reinstated. Whilst Apex Trades will do their upmost to ensure the reinstatement is to the original standard. We cannot guarantee the condition of reinstatement.

  • Commissioning of system and testing for any leaks.

Other possible expenses you may incur:

  • *Outside of the 3m will require an on-site quote for the extra pipework and labour involved.

  • External frame to mount whole house system $150 +GST
  • Alterations to cabinet space for optional Reverse Osmosis will require an on-site quote for extra work involved.
  • If pressure exceeds 500 kPa, a Pressure Regulating Valve is required to be installed to ensure compliance as per VBA regulations. $254 +GST
  • Once installed. Installation warranty will be void if other trades are to perform maintenance on the filter system.
