The AquaCo system features a comprehensive five-stage filtration process that begins with two pre-filters: a sediment filter and a carbon block filter.
These initial stages are crucial for eliminating larger contaminants and protecting the reverse osmosis membrane from harmful chemicals like chlorine and chloramines. Following this, the reverse osmosis membrane works diligently to purify the water, while two post-filters, including another carbon block filter and an alkalizing filter, provide the final touch.
The alkalizing filter not only raises the pH level but also restores the water's natural alkaline properties, ensuring that you enjoy a balanced and revitalizing drinking experience.
Stage 1: Sediment Pre-Filter – Replace every year
Removes dust, dirt, sediment, rust and sand to protect the carbon pre-filter.
Stage 2: Carbon Pre-Filter – Replace every year
Removes Herbicides, Pesticides, Chlorine and Chemicals to protect the membrane.
Stage 3: Ultrafine TFC RO Membrane – Replace 3 years
The RO membrane acts as a barrier to all salts and inorganic molecules, as well as organic molecules.
